Courtney and Austin (Hamilton Family Photographer)

So I recently was contacted by a former clients sister, Courtney, who was hoping to get some family photos done of her and her wee man!

I knew it was going to be a beautiful session as nothing is better then wee ones stealing the lime light! And it was just that, a beautiful day, a beautiful family and beautiful images were captured.

I was so happy to meet this little guy (mom too!) and have since been asked to capture some fun moments at his first birthday party! YAY! I love me some birthday party pics!

Enjoy! x

I'm not too sure where to start with regards to this post:) A compilation of things occured for me to stop and take a moment to think about what's really important to me:)

A 'to be' client and I were discussing the value of our images. It then prompted me to pass along a wonderful post that I stumbled upon and have previously blogged about.  Please check it out, it is a MUST read. If you are the one, sitting there, thinking 'I'll get to my family pictures, ect, ect'. PLEASE read, this one is for YOU. And don't fret, I too was one of them... : A letter on my doorstep.  I need say no more, you'll understand.

I then also came across this article: How to miss a childhood. Sigh, so very true.

So that led me to my impromptu photoshoot with my wee man Rowan:)

It was a beautiful morning, and he had my fav shirt on of course! That, and I was DETERMINED to get him to wear my funky hat. But of course, he would have none of that...why would he?!

How I love him so. Him and his brother.  I will have to do a fun shoot with Obree, who is at school just now.

Enjoy, and stop to think about being in the moment and loving the people around you. I know I did just that today. :)

And with saying this, I'm off to enjoy my children:)

Mr. B's Birthday Bash! (Hamilton, Ontario Portrait Photographer)

Oh my goodness me. I was so lucky that Adriane found me some way, some how!  Amongst the emails going back and forth to finalize details, I had noticed that she was a blogger. Not only a blogger, but an artist! She was in fact, the most interesting person I had the pleasure of meeting!

So out of random interest, I headed on over to her little place in the blogosphere @ http://aandbstories.com/ I really encourage you to check her out. I don't do advertising, or shout outs for that matter, but she is the exception. She's brilliant! You MUST go to see her before and afters with regards to her house. This is what I want in a house! It's perfect! Now where do I get the black board paint....

Not only that, but she paints the most interesting works of art.  Here @ http://www.adrianeduckworth.com/.  Have you ever seen such esthetically pleasing art? Not I!  Now, to get something made!

Okay, I'm sorry, I'm wandering off of my MAIN subject. Mr. Benjamin.

This wee guy was a sweet old soul. He wasn't sure about his surroundings, but was a-okay in the balloon zone, or in the comforts and company of mommy and daddy:)  He would do this little irish jig while being held (arms and feet flailing about) whenever he would make his way over to the balloons, it was precious.

That little boy is loved, and is surrounded by some pretty awesome friends and family members:)
